Business Description

APC Solutions is a global specialist in wireless communications, network infrastructure and mobile computing. Founded in 1996 by David Bell & Chris Lynch, the Essex based company is one of the only platinum Motorola partners in the UK and boasts an excellent client relationship with top house hold names.

In late 2010, APC opened a satellite office in Cape Town, South Africa and in the spring of 2011 a further office in Fremont, Ohio in North America. The new offices have allowed APC to serve these growing countries and as a result, APC has already undertaken a multitude of projects. In South Africa, APC has linked a variety of medical practices, Medi clinics and radiology departments to transfer X-Ray and medical data between sites. Therefore significantly reducing the time it took to deliver a diagnosis.

In the US, APC worked with W.I. Miller & Sons, a farming and agriculture business based in Ohio. It commissioned APC to install a wireless network which would connect its main premises with various out buildings and partners within its business. The network needed to connect the various premises with both internet connectivity and a connection to their software system.

APC Solutions Director, and Co-founder David Bell, won Business Man of the Year at the Mid Essex Business Awards in 2011, a tremendous achievement for both him, and the team.

David and Chris hope to expand the company further across the globe to mirror its success in South Africa and North America.
