Business Description

Caravan, the trading name of the National Grocers' Benevolent Fund, is the charity for the grocery industry.

From factory to store: Caravan helps people all over the UK who have worked, or are working, in the grocery industry and have now found that they need some extra support to get by. Caravan raises money through a variety of fundraising events, donations and corporate sponsorship. The help that Caravan provides can make a very real difference and it provides not only monetary support, but also appliances and everyday items that many take for granted.
In addition, Caravan runs a Welfare Helpline which is available to all who work, or have worked, in the grocery industry. It offers advice and guidance on a wide range of subjects from finance to personal issues.

Any company involved in our industry, either as a manufacturer, distributor, supplier or retailer, large or small, whether a previous supporter or not can get involved in the Award initiative.
