Business Staff & Management
Devon Academy is managed and run by Principals Gail and Derek Lowe. Gail Lowe formerly a general and psychiatric nurse and counsellor has been a successfully practising massage therapist since 1986 and teacher since 1989. She has worked along side and for the NHS and has established an excellent reputation both as a therapist and teacher.
Derek Lowe has a background of business management but has been a practising therapists and teacher since 2004. Devon Academy is a small academy where between the two of them Gail and Derek demonstrate there passion and skills to their small classes of students from all over Europe of all ages and backgrounds. Since 2004 they have trained successfully over 700 students and have only one failure during that time.
Ruth Godbeer is Devon Academy office administrator and fast becoming an admirable background support for the busy college.

Business Clients
Devon Academy specialise in Fast Track ITEC certificated courses for people wishing to have a change of career within complementary therapy. Our students are of all ages from 16 years upwards, and men and women from all walks of life. Students travel to the college from all over Europe and the UK. Devon academy has recently opened its second college in Exeter, its first based in Barnstaple in North Devon and plans to also teach courses in Bristol during 2012. During the recession Devon Academy has consistently continued to grow their business and prides itself in thinking out of the box and adapting to their students needs. Hence the introduction of Distance learning AP&P for those students capable of studying from home.
