Business Description
John Iles Associates is an RIBA Chartered Practice. Our core expertise is design. We combine rigorous analysis of our clients’ needs and aspirations with creative ingenuity in our mission to deliver an outstanding architectural service.
JIA has a deeply rooted interest in promoting sustainable construction, both through the use of traditional techniques, but also incorporating more contemporary systems where these reduce energy consumption and environmental impact. JIA joined the Green Register of Construction Professionals in January 2004 to extend its knowledge base and network with like-minded practitioners. We believe that this is a complex, potentially massive field, where developments will bring many benefits to our clients.
Business ServicesThe Practice maintains a diverse range of skills to meet our customers’ requirements. In addition to those more traditionally attributed to the role of an architect the following can be provided:
• site assessment/appraisal
• master planning
• estate strategy
• briefing
• space planning
• interior design
• computer aided draughting
• architectural illustration, including rendered 3D CGI’s
• CDM Co-ordination, as required under the CDM Regulations
In each of these areas of expertise we are dedicated to providing a professional service to our clients which is tailored to suit their individual aspirations at all stages of the building process. We appreciate that some customers are not experienced in construction. In these instances we are delighted to provide friendly advice on what needs to be done on a step by step basis.
