Business Description

The Longcrofts family have been in the transport business for over 30 years, moving to new, larger premises in October 2009. Initially carrying pallets for local businesses to all areas of the UK, we have diversified in recent times. Although pallet distribution still forms the backbone of the business, we now transport heavy plant and equipment throughout the UK, using two machine trailers and a specially customised 7.5 tonne 'beaver-tail' truck. In common with many road hauliers, we are now in partnership with a pallet hub. UK Pallets, part of the Business Post Group of companies, is one of the fastest growing and efficient pallet hubs in the UK and Longcrofts are proud to be their member for the SG and CB postcode areas. Membership enables us distribute large volumes of pallets quickly and efficiently throughout the UK.
