The Florence Nightingale museum. To advance the education of nurses or those engaged in nursing. To establish and maintain a Museum for the preservation and wider display of the Nightingale collection. To receive donations of suitable items for the collection, or to purchase suitable items. To afford the facilities for research into the history and work of Florence Nightingale, particularly in relation to the first training school for nurses at St Thomas’ Hospital and consequential developments in the nursing profession.
