Freeform Productions is one of the UK’s leading regional production companies, specialising in high volume, returning, feel good formats. Founded by Ann Lavelle and Antoine Palmer, Freeform has been delivering high quality and high rating television to leading UK broadcasters since 1999.  Freeform’s production offices are based on a beautiful Farm in Hertfordshire. Freeform is best known for A Place in the Sun, one of the longest-running series on Channel 4 and has now been on air for over 20 years, however it also produces a wide variety of features and fact ent shows. This year Freeform will deliver another 120 brand new episodes of A Place in the Sun and sister series Home or Away. The episodes are also distributed and screened worldwide and the series has inspired a bi-monthly magazine of the same name, and a successful property exhibition, A Place in the Sun Live, that takes place regularly throughout the year in London, Manchester and Birmingham. Over the years Freeform has originated and delivered a diverse range of series, including Gene Detectives (BBC1 Features), A Place by the Sea (C4), 6-part comedy drama series The Gemma Factor (BBC3) and three consecutive series of Coast v Country (C4) as well as producing Ricky Gervais’ first ever comedy show, Golden Years (C4 Entertainment) the massage series, Heaven in your Hands (UKTV) and Holiday House Swap (C5). Freeform is also in production on a brand new 20-part Channel 4 daytime commission Britain’s Most Historic Hotels (working title), to be delivered in summer 2019.
