As a member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors he offers two forms of survey specifically designed to help home buyers. Building Survey This is a detailed survey suited to older and larger houses, properties of unusual construction or those that have been extensively altered. Homebuyer Survey & Valuation This is a standard pro-forma and is specifically designed as an economy service. It is intended for use on properties that are conventional in type and construction and seem to be in reasonable condition. The report focuses only on major defects and problems which are urgent and will have a significant effect on the value of the property.
