I am an Artist / Designer living and working in Sheffield. I launched my business Jill Ray Landscapes a year ago.

I have been a practicing Artist and Designer for over 25 years. I paint and I make prints about landscapes and in the same theme, I offer a Garden Design service. I consider my business to be a portfolio of work under the ‘Landscape’ heading and I find the various strands of my work link with and inform each other.

Business Products
I paint landscapes in oils on canvas, using only artists quality materials. My main concerns are Colour, Light and the Rhythms of landscape. The woodlands in Sheffield and the hills of Peak District provide most of my subject matter.

My distinctive landscape prints are drawn digitally and printed using archival quality materials. They are produced in limited editions of 250. They are available mounted, backed and bagged or mounted and framed. They are available at shows and exhibitions listed under 'news and upcoming events' on the website. They can also be bought from my online shop, see the Etsy link on the website. Several shops in Sheffield sell the framed prints including 'Rare and Racy' at Devonshire Green, 'Wickwire' at Nether Edge and 'Valentine and Whicker' at Banner Cross.
