The begining of a new Legal Aid Solicitors in London

That passion drew us towards setting up our own legal Aid Solicitors in London. We knew the Dagenham area well having worked together in Barking since 1991. I have lived in East London since 1988 and Kim is very much a local girl having been born in Plaistow East London and grown up in Romford, so it made sense to set up our Dagenham law firm in a place we knew best.

There were only three of us, myself Simon, Kim and David D. When we first decided to open our Solicitors office in Dagenham, we were first called Simon M Milner and Co. in June 1995. We did not have any clients or any office equipment or anything else for that matter.

In 1997 Matt joined us a junior and by with dogged determination in working and going to college such that he is now a qualified solicitor.

In that way by 2000 we were getting so many referrals and recommendations from Domestic Violence Organisations, the courts, social services as well as the police, clients and former clients that we decided to concentrate on one area of work, do it often and do it well. We were soon also joined by other people equally as passionate about providing a London Legal Aid service as we are. Jean Dowling who came from a Legal Aid immigration Family lawyer firm and is now a partner and Scott Wigul who was a partner with another London Family Law Specialist and is himself a member of the Children Panel.
In April 2011 Child Care Specialist and accreditted specialist member of Resolution Karen Montgomery joined the team She is well known and well respected solicitor in the Romford area and courts for the past 15 years

We’re great believers in training and supporting our staff achieve their potential. Vicci joined us as trainee and is now an established family law solicitor. Navdip and Marc are about to finish their training contracts and we have also taken on two more trainees from September 2011 and are looking forward to Rachel, Rebecca joining the Family lawyer London team making us one of the most qualified Romford Solicitors in the area, and a leading Family law solicitors in London.
