The company was established by Robert Bell in 1999 trading as R Bell Tree Services with one member of staff building up to two teams of two including Robert. In 2006 R Bell UK LTD was formed with Robert as Director this merged R Bell Tree Services with R Bell Platform Hire allowing the company to grow to 9 Members of staff and allowing the tree teams to have access to a range of platforms depending on the requirements. In 2008 The Hire side of the company was sold so that the company could concentrate on the tree surgery, currently there are six members of staff and Robert.
